Do These 4 Things When Returning from Vacation

Does it feel like you returned from vacation a month ago, not yesterday?
The reality is that many things await you on your first day back from vacation: a full inbox, a long list of to-dos, and people needing your time. If you dive right in, you'll likely eliminate all the benefits of taking time off.
It is possible to get back in the swing of things while keeping some calm and restoring your break. This can be done in X ways:
Block off your morning. Make sure you don't have any meetings scheduled or big projects due.
Don’t open your inbox immediately. Instead, identify your work priorities for the day.
As you go through emails and voicemails, focus on returning the messages connected to what matters most. Defer or delegate things that aren't a top priority.
Remember that catching up will probably take more than one day, so be easy on yourself.
